-Chimär- the album and the performance contain new composed music in kind of traditional style, blending in flavours of jazz, baroque and drone music painting a picture of a dream and illusion. The darkness and light of the seasons.
Performed in a duo setting with Nyckelharpa and Double bass (tuned in fifth), where they leave their traditional roles, taking turns carrying the melody and accompaniment each other, leading the dance.
A southern Swede with a double-bass, and a nyckelharpist born and raised in Västmanland county in Sweden, meet in this duo to discover how they can challenge their given roles that comes with their instruments. Taking new roads with the melodies and tell the stories in a personal way.
